About the Journal
"WSG University Scientific Notebooks Tourism and Recreation" is a scientific periodical published since 2001 (since 2004 under a new ISSN number). The journal presents the results of the latest empirical research and theoretical analyzes in the field of socio-cultural and natural issues of tourism and recreation, and also informs about good practices implemented in the field of leisure time animation (covering the following scientific disciplines:
- management and quality science,
- social economic geography,
- earth and environmental sciences,
- science of physical culture,
- culture and religion studies.
The journal is characterized by care for a high substantive and editorial level as well as openness to a variety of topics, constituting a platform for the exchange of views of researchers from various fields and around the world.
The high level of scientific value is confirmed by high score awarded by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education in Poland (20 points).
Texts for publication are accepted on a continuous basis. Only previously unpublished texts are included. The editors of the journal make every effort to detect and disclose cases of dishonest practices, such as: plagiarism, multiple publications, unauthorized citations, etc. Submitted texts are edited in accordance with the guidelines for graphic preparation of the text adopted by the Editorial Board.
The journal also encourages submission of reviews of new books and research projects, comments on articles and other scientific topics. [Make a submission]
Publication frequency. Zeszyty Naukowe is published once a year.
Languages. The journal accepts articles in Polish, English and Ukrainian.
Fees/charge. The journal does not charge article processing or submission fees.
Review. Articles are reviewed by at least two reviewers. The rejection rate is 20%.
